Summary
Whistic users may have access to multiple accounts associated with different companies which results in the user being able to toggle to and access each account. This guide will cover how to toggle between multiple companies so that users can seamlessly transition from one account to the next.
A user is defined as a single email address. Each email address counts as one user. You can access a Whistic company account with multiple email addresses, but you won't toggle between them. Different email addresses are treated as separate users, even if they belong to the same person.
🔄 Steps
Switching between multiple companies that your user is connected to, is simple:
- Once you are logged into Whistic, in the top-left of your window by the logo you will see your company name with a drop-down.
- Click on the drop-down and you will see a list of companies that you can search and select from.
- Whistic will then reload the window and direct you to the selected company's dashboard for your user. That's it!
🏢 Company Association
Since Whistic is a vendor security network, there are many requests, shares and other transactions happening frequently between various companies. The list of companies you see is a list of companies that your email address has been associated with. In the future, we hope to provide further context into each of the companies in this list so you have more information to act on. For now, please contact Whistic Support with questions.
🗑️ Remove A Company
If you would like to remove one of the companies from this list, please contact Whistic Support and request that we deactivate your user on that company account which will remove it from the list. Should you need assistance from Support regarding this, please provide the email address and website URL which can be found under My Profile Settings. Learn more here.
❓ FAQ
How come I can no longer see an account that I used to have access to?
If you no longer see a company on the list that you used to have access to, this may be due to your user being archived in that account. For clarification, please reach out to your Whistic Admin or Whistic Support.
How do I remove a company from the list?
If you no longer need access to a particular account, Whistic Support is happy to assist you in archiving your user from that account, so that the company no longer displays. This will remove your access completely to that account.
What if I have been removed from an account and need access later?
Whistic Support can assist with unarchiving your account so that your access can be restored. If you are a Whistic Customer, your Whistic admin will need to authorize your account to be restored before Whistic Support can proceed.
