❓ What is Whistic?
- Whistic is a platform that helps both buyers and sellers meet security requirements. It helps buyers assess the security of potential vendors. On the other side, it helps sellers share and certify their security credentials to potential customers.
Whistic customers can generate requests through the platform to complete certain actions, such as completing an assessment or viewing security documentation. - While we facilitate the platform for our customers to send/receive assessments and perform vendor assessments, we, at Whistic, do not have the ability to initiate, cancel, or modify these requests in any way. If you have further questions regarding your request, we recommend that you reach out to the requester.
🔍 How do I find an assessment request?
- Once logged in, go to the Dashboard (found in the top left navigation menu). There will be a box or a task labeled Outstanding Customer Requests. Follow the link to open the assessment.

👤 How can I see who sent me the Assessment?
- The original email invite contains the requester's information. You can also view the requester's information (name, email & phone) on the assessment itself in the upper right corner.

🔄 I've been assigned an assessment but I'm not the right person to complete it. How do I reassign the assessment to someone else?
- Follow the link found at the bottom of the original email invitation: CLICK HERE to grant access to a colleague. Once you reassign an assessment, you will lose access to it.

📤 I want to complete the assessment request outside of Whistic, how do I do this?
- You can export the assessment into an .xlsx format and complete it outside of Whistic. Once finished, you can import it and Whistic will populate the web form with the spreadsheet answers. Multiple choice or file upload questions will still need to be completed on the web form.

📨 I've completed an assessment, how do I share it?
- Once you complete an assessment, a window will appear asking if you would like to share it. It will automatically share with the person that requested it. You can also share it with anyone else, even if they didn't request it.
Learn more here. - If you do not see that option to share and your assessment is at 100%, please ensure that you are accessing the most current, outstanding request. You can do this by visiting your dashboard and accessing the request from there. If there is no request on your dashboard, it has likely been reassigned or canceled.
🔁 I've already completed this assessment request, why am I getting a new one?
- The request is likely a follow up to your original submission. After reviewing your responses, the assessor can ask clarification questions. This creates a dialog window to discuss questions/answers in-depth.

🤝 I've been assigned an assessment but I need help to complete it. Can I add people to help?
- Rather than reassign the entire assessment, you can add people to collaborate with you. Once you are on the assessment form, select the 'plus' sign in the top center of the assessment. A window will appear where you can add collaborators.

♻️ I or someone else in my company has completed this assessment before. Can I use the original answers to fulfill this request?
- Yes, questions can be mapped over from requests that have been previously submitted. When you open a request, a prompt will alert you to use Smart Response to update the assessment with previously completed questions.

📋 Can I share a partially completed assessment?
- No, you must answer every question to share an assessment.
✅ How do I find my completed assessments?
- Once logged in, go to the Questionnaires tab (found in the top left navigation menu) and locate the Questionnaire you are attempting to access. Once you find the questionnaire hover over the questionnaire and select 'View My Results'.
- If there are several versions of the questionnaire you are attempting to access, when hovering over the questionnaire please select 'Self-Assessments' and it will forward you to the next page where you can select 'View My Results'.
🔕 I don't want to receive any more notifications from Whistic. What can I do?
- If you have unsubscribed from an email notification and are still receiving something, please contact support@whistic.com. You can also contact the person that issued the request through Whistic and ask they cancel the assessment.
- If you would like to opt out of the reminder emails, you can do so in your Trust Center located in the upper right corner of the platform. More on that can be found here.
🏪 What is the Trust Center Exchange?
- The Trust Center Exchange is where the two sides of Whistic meet - buyers can review available vendors and their documentation or sellers can post a Trust Center where potential customers can view their security posture.
After completing an assessment, you can post your assessment to a Trust Center Exchange Trust Center and avoid future requests!
🌐 What browser should I use?
- Generally we recommend using Google Chrome. However, the only browser that we do not support is IE (Internet Explorer). Edge we do support.
🔒 Are my answers and any comments/clarifications visible to everyone in Whistic?
- No. No other customer can see the answers/comments/clarifications in the questionnaire you are working through. Only the Vendor that initiated the request, and the company that completes the request can see them.
