Summary
If you start responding to a questionnaire request but aren't able to finish it right away, here are two easy ways you can re-open the request. First, log in to Whistic HERE. Next, complete either option below to access the questionnaire. If the steps below do not help, you may need to do this first to switch between company views.

Option 1: Via the 'Dashboard' Menu
Select the Dashboard option from the left menu
- For Tasks, you can filter by Outstanding Customer Requests (for example) on the left-hand side tasks menu or use the Search bar to find a specific request.
Option 2: Via the Assess > Questionnaires Menu
- Select Assess from the top menu and then select Questionnaires
- Toggle ON the Pending Request filter next to the search bar
Option 3: Via Email Notification
Each request should have a corresponding email notification. This can be saved and the button in the email can be used to access the request.
Option 4: Via Vendor Registration Link
- Contact the requester so they can follow the steps below.
- Find the vendor record.
- Under Assessments, locate the assessment folder which contains the outstanding request (typically is the top folder)
- Select the three dots and click Vendor Registration Link (see below)
📄 Document Requests
Whistic now allows users to request a specific security document instead of a full questionnaire. The request when received will also appear in the "Outstanding Customer Requests" box. Under "Type", it will list what type of document is being requested.

To be sure you found the right questionnaire, check the right side bar. There should be requester information there that matches your expectations.
If you expect to have a request but are unable to find it, there is a chance it was reassigned or canceled. Please confirm with your contact if the request is still outstanding and assigned to you.
🗂️ Find A Previously Completed Questionnaire
Completed questionnaires are called reports within Whistic. If you would like to find questionnaires that you have already completed, go to Assess > Questionnaires on the top menu. You will then see all questionnaires that you have access you. By hovering over a particular questionnaire, you will find options to view, share, etc. Some features are limited to paid plans such as viewing multiple reports/assessments, etc.

Why can't I find the request?
There can be a few reasons for this:
- The request may have been reassigned to someone else. This can be reassigned back to you if needed, by either the current assignee OR the requester.

- Second, the requester may need to change their vendor status record from "Inactive" to "Active". If that does not resolve it, please cancel the old request, and send a new request. These steps should also resolve assessments with duplicate requests.

Third, if the recipient of a request is a user on a company that uses Whistic, they might not see the request if they were not previously approved by their administrators. There are two options below.
- The recipient's Whistic Admin can make them approved.
- Or, the recipient or the requester can reassign the request to someone who is currently approved.
