Why can't I delete a vendor External Contact?
Once an External Contact completes a questionnaire, they cannot be deleted from the Whistic UI. If the questionnaire is still pending in Assessment Activity, it can be reassigned and the contact deleted. If an external contact was added by mistake or has a typo, edit them to an Internal contact—the X will appear for deletion.
Whistic developers can delete external contacts by request if needed.
What is the "Admin" tag on external contacts? Can it be transferred?
The admin tag is automatically assigned to the first external contact listed and cannot be transferred.
If I apply custom scoring to a questionnaire, will previous questionnaire scores be updated?
When applying custom scoring to a questionnaire, all previous instances where this version was completed will be scored. Previously submitted questionnaire scores can take a day or more to update.
Why are there duplicate vendors after uploading a Bulk Vendor Import Template? Can duplicates be removed?
When using Bulk Vendor Import, add new vendors at the bottom of the list. To edit existing vendors, download a new Bulk Import Template before making changes. Vendors have unique IDs created after being added.
Check the "Whistic Information" column (far right) to identify if your file will create duplicates. This string of letters and numbers is the existing vendor ID. If blank, a new vendor will be created using that row's information. This column also helps troubleshoot "domain doesn't match" errors, which indicate mismatched IDs—export a fresh document to resolve.
Duplicate vendors must typically be removed individually from the Vendor Catalog (Vendor Details page Archive button). For hundreds of duplicates, Whistic Support can request mass removal from developers for vendors created within a specific timeframe. Contact support@whistic.com for assistance.
