- Once the integration is set up and mappings are configured, all changes to your Whistic Intake Form field components will require you to update/refresh your Zip Integration. Please contact Zip to refresh the connection after any changes.

Zip integrates with Whistic for 2 key use cases:
- Creating a Vendor record in Whistic
- Retrieving Vendor Data from Whistic
Use case #1: Create and Edit Vendor Record
Following an initial intake in Zip where the requestor is asking for a new vendor, send Vendor Details to Whistic to create a new vendor record.
Description
An approval task can be created to add a new Vendor in Whistic from Zip. It then uses data from a Zip Request stored in Zip standard/custom fields to create and pre-populate the new Vendor Record in Whistic.
Fields on the Whistic intake form can be added directly to the Zip intake form or mapped to an existing field in Zip to pull over into Whistic.
Use case #2: Sync Vendor Data
Zip can fetch details from the Whistic Vendor record and associated Assessment records to populate the Vendor details in Zip.
Description
In a nightly sync or fetched manually from the record, Zip will retrieve Vendor status & risk information from the Whistic Vendor Records. Fields synced from Whistic:
- Assessment Progress
- Residual Risk
- Inherent Risk
- Criticality
