1. Create and link Responsive projects from Whistic questionnaire response pages.
2. Send most Whistic questions and answers over to Responsive.
3. Send most Responsive answers back over to Whistic.

📋 Requirements

• Please confirm with your Whistic contact that your account is qualified and prepared for setup, etc.
• You will need your own Responsive account, and the integration should not cost extra.

🔧 Steps

Overview

1. Create Responsive API key.
2. Apply key in Whistic Admin.
3. Create Responsive webhook address.

Detailed Steps

We recommend creating a new user in Responsive (some naming convention like [e-mail]) and use that new user's API key. You can use an existing user's API key if it is easier, but if that user has their Responsive account deleted it will cause the integration to break.

1. Go to your account button in the top-right corner of Responsive, Click on My Account

2. Click on Integrations and Generate API Token

3. Once that is done, navigate to your Whistic login and follow the instructions below:

• Go to Settings and then Integrations
• Look for RFPIO and click Configure

5. Next, input the Responsive Key in the field and click Save Configuration

6. Once saved, you should get a successful connection message.

Webhook Address Setup:

1. Go to your Responsive Instance

2. Click Organization Settings within your account button

3. Navigate to > Integrations > Collaboration > Webhook > Configure

4. Click Add Webhook

For your production environment, please enter the url as https://api.whistic.com/rfpio-event-dispatcher/project/complete

🚀 Basic Usage

Overview

1. Create Responsive project via Whistic questionnaire response page.
2. Complete Responsive project.
3. Confirm Whistic questionnaire completion.

Detailed Steps

1. Create Responsive project

2. Login to Whistic.com and open a questionnaire.

Note: You'll notice an RFPIO (Create Project) button on the top-right of the screen

3. After clicking Create Project, Whistic pings your instance of Responsive and displays a modal window which allows you to build out your project.

4. Proceed through each until you reach the end of the project creation modal window and click on Create

5. Once the create button is clicked, Whistic sends the data to Responsive and a project will be created.

Complete Responsive Project

1. You can get to rfpio.com directly via Whistic by clicking the View Project button on the right-hand side of the page

2. Once you are in Responsive, select the Sections button on the project, and that will take you to all sections of the questionnaire.

3. You can drill down into each section which will display the questions for that specific section.

4. After all of the questions are answered, you can start the completion of the project by going back to the Project tab, clicking the three ellipsis symbol and then Complete Project.

5. Then, a modal window will appear and you will need to click Complete.

*Once 'complete' is clicked, Responsive sends a notification to Whistic that the project is completed and the answers are pulled into Whistic.

Confirm Whistic Questionnaire Completion

Finally, you can go back into Whistic, open the questionnaire and see that the questions have answers and that the Responsive section of the page shows a status of 'Responded'

🔄 Alternatives

In some cases, you may find Responsive's Chrome Answer Lookup browser extension a viable alternative. More details on this can be found HERE.

⚠️ Unsupported

1. Answering any document (upload) questions.
2. Attaching files.
3. Conditional question logic that allows you to know which questions are not required depending on how you answer.
4. The auto-response and business unit features have limited support currently.
   1. For example, you can use them, but currently you must type or paste in the labels.

Responsive matches answers to questions by the text and not the IDs.

Why can't I see the Responsive API key field in Whistic?

The feature is likely not turned on for your account. Please review the integration requirement.
