Summary
As part of the vendor risk management process, business units must request security reviews for vendors. This can be done without a Whistic account by accessing the Vendor Intake link and completing the form.
After the form is submitted, the new vendor will be listed under Assess > Vendors, and your security team will be notified. At that point, you can review the vendor details to determine the appropriate security review, or simply verify that your Program Automation rules have triggered the necessary assessment.

Helpful Tips:
- The link you see may vary depending on whether you're logged in via SSO or another method. However, both versions of the link will lead to the same destination.
- You can now generate multiple links to the external vendor intake form. However, all links will direct to the same form.
- Program automation rules will be triggered when using the vendor intake form to create new vendor records. These rules do not apply to existing vendor records.
- Select Settings on the upper right
- In the sub-menu, select Program Automation
- The following page is a directory of the Program Automation features. At the bottom is the Vendor Request Form. There are options to copy the External link, which you can then distribute internally.
🔗 Multiple Intake Form Links
You can create multiple links for the same intake form, each with its own unique URL. This allows you to track different use cases or audiences while keeping the form content identical.
To add a new link:
- Click the Add New button
- Give your link a descriptive name (e.g., "Vendor Portal" or "Partner Onboarding")
- Share the unique URL that's generated
Each named link will direct users to the same form, but you'll be able to identify which link they used.
