Summary
Whistic has made it easy to check your Salesforce connection and ensure that everything is syncing correctly. Broken connections can cause Trust Center shares to fail and are most often the result of a Salesforce Admin changing the API key or other configurations. To double-check your connection from within the Whistic platform, go to Resources > Integrations then click on Configure on the Salesforce tile. Here you will find the version of Salesforce installed as well as the person who initiated it. Below is an explanation of this page and the features that are configured here.
๐ Quick Enable and Disable Connections
Most notably on this page, you will find a toggle for each salesforce connection you have set up. This will allow you to quickly turn on the integration on or off. If you have an error with a particular connection you will see a red warning icon.
The error message will display if you hover over the icon. Any connections that are broken will be automatically turned off.
๐ง Email Notifications for Connection Errors
Whistic has enabled an error notification that will automatically go to a designated user should a Salesforce connection fail. By default, these notifications will go to your Whistic Admins. If you would like these to go to another person or team, follow the steps below:
- On a selected Salesforce connection, click the edit pencil.
- Add an email contact for the person that should receive and resolve broken Salesforce connection notifications. They will receive an email notification should your connection break.

- Test the package in a Sandbox prior to implementing it in your Production environment
- Enable easier testing as a Sandbox and Production account can be connected at the same time and testing can take place in the sandbox without disrupting production
