Summary
Whistic is a great way for Salesforce users to share security and other documentation with customers!
Occasionally a Salesforce user or team may encounter issues while using the integration. We hope the instructions below help them view corresponding logs to resolve the issue or collect helpful context if Whistic Support is required.
🪜 Steps
Below you will find 4 sections. The first (Share Logs) applies to all customer integrations and is a great place to start especially if there is a small issue.
The last 3 sections for Audit Logs, Error Details, & Error Logs apply to customers depending on how new your integration package is (newest to oldest). These sections may give additional background context for larger issues.
📋 Share Logs
These logs are specific to each Trust Center share and, in most cases, provide great initial context if something goes wrong during a Trust Center share.
These logs should be accessed by the person sharing the Trust Center (Whistic User) or a Salesforce Whistic Admin.
Please select the down arrow and click View for this data (screenshot below). If troubleshooting, please provide as much of this log as possible in text format (especially the JSON sections).

🔍 Version 1.32+ / Audit Logs
Most of you likely have our newer versions and these instructions will apply to you.

Please contact your Salesforce Whistic Admin to search the Audit Logs app

Make sure you are viewing all logs and not just recent ones.
- Here you'll find all logs (not just errors). Sort by the date recommended.
- Find the ones associated with your error. Sometimes these logs come in pairs etc. If the solution is not obvious, please provide as much of the information you've collected to Whistic Support as you can (text format ideal).
🔍 Version 1.18+ / Error Details
Some of you may have an older integration version that these instructions will apply to.
- Please contact your Salesforce Whistic Admin to review the Error Details dropdown in the Whistic SF app Home tab.
- Make sure you are viewing all logs and not just recent ones.
- Here you'll find all logs (not just errors). Sort by the date recommended.
- Find the ones associated with your error. Sometimes these logs come in pairs etc. If the solution is not obvious, please provide as much of the information you've collected to Whistic Support as you can (text format ideal).
⚠️ Oldest Versions / Error Logs
If you have an older version than the ones listed above, please consider upgrading your version as many enhancements have been made since our oldest iteration. If you have trouble locating these error logs, please reach out to support@whistic.com for assistance.
