Summary
Do you ever have customers or prospects who can't view your Trust Center because they are unable to create a Whistic account or would prefer not to?
Guest Pass is a secure way to temporarily grant your recipient access to view your Profile(s) immediately without requiring a login.

🔗 How to Share Using Guest Pass
- Select the Trust Center you want to share
- At the top right-hand side of the page, click on Share
- A modal will appear with a Guest Pass checkbox on the right-hand side, select it
- Select the access duration
- Note - these are set for 'Business' days/weeks
- Enter the Recipient's Information
- Hit Share
Important Notes:
- Although the shared link is unique to this 'Share Instance', if the recipient forwards the email or shares the Guest Pass URL with anyone else, that person will have access
- There's no NDA enforced - If sharing with this method, consider gathering an NDA manually
- Only users with Admin permission can share with this method
- The Guest Pass duration supersedes the Trust Center Access expiration timeframe. Learn more about Trust Center Access Expiration Date here.
- If the recipient does not receive the email invite with the unique link, that same link is also available in the Customer menu tab under the specific share record > Recipient Access Link
📧 What Happens on the Recipient's Side
- An email similar to the one shown below will be sent to the recipient, containing a Guest Pass to your Trust Center(s).
- They can securely access your Trust Center by clicking the Trust Center name or the button in the email.
- The Trust Center & email will clearly state when access expires
- After expiration, if the user selects the link, they will land on a page letting them know access has expired and to contact support
❓ FAQs
Is Guest Pass access restricted only to the specific Recipient?
No. If the Recipient shares the URL or forwards the email to anyone else, that person will have access.
What happens after Guest Pass access expires?
Once expired, the recipient will no longer have access to the Profile and will have to reach out to support if they need an extension.
Will the Recipient be notified when their Guest Pass is about to expire?
Although there are no additional notifications, they will see an indicator at the top of the page showing the date and time when their access will expire.
How can I tell if the Recipient has seen the Profile yet?
In the Shares tab, click on Add/Select Columns next to the search bar and make sure Viewed Date is selected. Save it and search for the Customer. Viewed Date is the most recent view.
Can I share multiple Trust Centers with one Recipient?
Yes, you can select multiple Trust Centers to share. The Recipient will receive one email with multiple Guest Passes, one for each Trust Center.
If I have already set an expiration timeframe in my Trust Center settings (under Trust Center Access), will the Guest Pass Recipient have access for the duration of the Guest Pass or until the Trust Center Access expiration timeframe?
The Guest Pass duration supersedes the Trust Center Access expiration timeframe.
Are there any records of Trust Center Shares?
Yes, there are two ways to track Trust Center Shares:
- In the Shares tab, You can filter by Guest Pass in your Shares and see when your Shared Trust Center was viewed most recently. - Learn more about the Customers tab here
