Table of Contents
To increase the reach of the Trust Center Exchange, all registered Whistic users can now search and view the contents of published Trust Centers. This allows customers to identify potential vendors and allows vendors to see examples of what security documentation other businesses are including in their Trust Centers.
To help you get started, we'll show you how to publish a Basic Trust Center to the Trust Center Exchange and share some of the top reasons why you should.
🔄 Benefits of the Trust Exchange
The two main benefits of publishing your Trust Center to the Trust Center Exchange include:
- Building trust with customers by proactively sharing security information
- Enabling customers to conduct Zero-Touch Assessments
🔒 Share Your Security Posture Proactively
Publishing your security information to the Trust Center Exchange allows Whistic customers to quickly view the contents of your Trust Center and conduct an assessment to see if it meets their risk tolerance.
Proactively sharing your information typically leads to faster buying and sales cycles, especially when the vendor and customer haven't worked together previously. When security information is shared proactively, it helps create relationships built on trust because it shows that you have nothing to hide.
⚡ Enabling Customers to Conduct Zero-Touch Assessments
The future of security reviews is Zero-touch Assessments. If you are unfamiliar with the concept, Zero-touch Assessments occur when a vendor publishes a security profile publicly (either on their website or the Trust Exchange), enabling their customers to conduct an assessment without having to chase down information from internal stakeholders and the vendor. This allows the sales team to focus on selling and the security team to focus on keeping the organization secure, rather than requiring either team to respond to assessment request after assessment request.
📋 Publishing Completed Questionnaires
Here are a few items to consider when publishing questionnaires to the Trust Exchange:
- Basic Profile users can only publish standard questionnaires, but custom questionnaires are available to users who upgrade. To learn more about questionnaires, click HERE
- Protect your information – Decide whether or not you want to require prior approval for customers to access your Profile
- Once access is approved, your Profile will be imported into the customer's Vendor Catalog where they can begin assessing your security posture.
- Free users are unable to import vendors from the Trust Exchange at this time
Profiles that are published to the Trust Exchange allow potential customers to find and assess your security information proactively. No more completing the same questionnaires over and over again!
