Summary
This article explains how to delete your Whistic account, what happens to your data during the deletion process, and alternative options you may want to consider. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, so please review all information carefully before proceeding.
⚠️ Before You Delete Your Account
Before requesting account deletion, consider these important points:
Understanding Whistic's Network Structure Whistic operates as a network where companies connect and assess each other. Even after deletion, you may be re-invited by other organizations requesting assessments or wanting to share Trust Centers with you.
Data Sharing Considerations Once you've shared data with other organizations through Whistic, those recipients retain their copies. Account deletion only removes your copy of the data - shared information remains accessible to those who received it, as outlined in section 4.2 of our Terms and Conditions. HERE
Alternative Solutions If your goal is to reduce emails rather than delete your account entirely, consider:
- Limiting reminder emails in your notification settings
- Updating your email preferences
- Temporarily deactivating notifications
Contact support@whistic.com if you need help adjusting your email settings instead of deleting your account.

🏢 For Free Account Users: Coordinating Account Deletion Across Your Organization
Free Whistic accounts are structured as individual accounts rather than organizational ones (per Section 1.6 of our Terms of Service). This means there is no admin function to view or manage all users from your organization at once. If you're looking to coordinate account deletion for multiple users from your company, follow the steps below.
How to Identify Users in Your Organization
Since free accounts don't have admin privileges to view other users, we recommend the following approaches to help your colleagues determine if they have a Whistic account:
Method 1: Check Email for Whistic Communications Ask employees to search their email inboxes for messages from Whistic using these email addresses:
- info@whistic.com
- @whistic.com (to capture all Whistic domain emails)
If they find emails from Whistic, they likely have an account.
Method 2: Use the Password Reset Feature Employees can visit the Whistic login page and use the "Forgot Password" feature:
- Navigate to https://console.whistic.com/
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Enter their work email address
- If an account exists under that email, they will receive a password reset email
- If no account exists, they will not receive an email
This method allows employees to verify whether they have an account without needing to remember their password or having access to admin features.
