Follow-ups are internal reminders that help you track and manage tasks related to vendor assessments. When you create a follow-up, an email notification is automatically sent to the assigned team member—keeping everyone aligned on what needs to be completed before, during, or after an assessment.
You can create follow-ups in two ways:
- Directly from a vendor's Details page or
- From the Finalize tab while completing your assessment.
📋 Steps
To create a follow-up from a vendor's Details page:
- Navigate to Assess > Vendors
- Select the vendor for whom you want to create a follow-up
- On the vendor's Details page, click the dropdown under Communication
-
Select Follow-Ups, then click Add Follow-Up
- Enter a clear, concise message describing the follow-up task
- Note: Keep your message brief—all follow-ups will be listed in this panel, and concise descriptions make it easier to track outstanding requests
- Set a reminder date by clicking the calendar icon and selecting the desired date from the calendar window
- Assign the follow-up using the dropdown menu
- You can select multiple team members if needed
- Click Save to create the follow-up
Once saved, the follow-up will appear in the Follow-Ups list. The assigned user(s) will receive an email notification on the due date reminding them to log into Whistic and complete the follow-up task.
Alternatively: You can also create follow-ups directly from the Finalize tab before completing your assessment.
🗑️ Deleting a Follow-Up
To delete a follow-up, click the trash can icon next to the follow-up you want to remove.
Important: There is no confirmation prompt—the follow-up will be deleted immediately.
