Issues in Whistic help teams track and resolve specific concerns, questions, or action items related to vendor assessments. When an Issue is assigned to you, you'll receive a notification prompting you to review and take action.
This article walks you through how to access your assigned Issues, understand what's required, and complete the necessary tasks to move the assessment process forward.

Accessing Your Assigned Issue

Click the link in your notification email, or navigate to Dashboard > Task List > Issues Assigned to Me.
Note: If you're not registered, the email link will direct you to the registration page. - You'll land on the Issue page.
- If not, select View Issue from the Issues Assigned to Me section on your Dashboard.
Understanding the Issue Page
Issue Details
- Status: Shows as "Open" until the Issue Owner resolves it
- Severity: Set by the Issue Owner
- Source Type, Name & Description: Indicates where the Issue originated (e.g., specific questionnaire and question)
Remediation Plan
- Remediation Plan: Describes what needs to be completed
- Due Date: Target resolution date
Owner Details
- Contact information for the Issue Owner
Comments
- Use this section to communicate with the Issue Owner
- Click Add Comment, enter your message, and select Reply
- The Owner will be notified of your response and can then review and update the Issue status
Once the Issue is marked as Resolved, it will be removed from your task list.

Why is the Issue no longer on my dashboard?
Once the Issue Owner updates the status (typically to "Resolved"), you'll no longer have access to view it in your Whistic account.
