When you share a Whistic Trust Center with a company or a prospect the Whistic UI adds this information to the Shares section. It is very similar in layout to the Vendors section.
In this article, we will review the Shares section from the list view to the details of a customer and how to edit it if needed.
📋 Shares List Section
The images below show the list of customers when you Select the Shares option from the top menu, under Trust Center:
- Search gives you the flexibility to quickly find your customer. Type the name of the customer or any information to show you the results.
- Add/Select Columns will allow you to customize the view based on your selection. To customize the view of the Shares section please click HERE.
- Share Date allows you to view from newest to oldest or vice versa.
-
Viewed Date indicates the most recent date that the trust center was viewed. If the trust center has been sent to multiple people at the same company the Viewed Date will reflect the date that the trust center was most recently viewed by any of the recipients.
Each line represents a customer. Click on any column on a line to select the customer except the Domain or Version columns. Selecting the domain will open a new tab to their domain. Selecting the Version will open the Whistic Trust Center that was shared with that customer.
This is the 'Filter' button (top-left) to help streamline your search:
🔍 Customer Details Section
1. URL or domain of your customer.
2. If there was an NDA with your customer this is where it would be. Select it to view it and you can export it as a PDF file if your customer would like a copy.
* (Sample image of View NDA below number 6.)*
3. This is the name of the Whistic Trust Center that you shared with your customer and the date that you shared it. You may have multiple trust centers. Some may require an NDA and others not. It is up to you which trust centers to share with which customers and which to require an NDA.
4. This is your recipients' list and the paper link icon is the Customer Registration Link should you need to send it again.
If the user already has a registered account, they are redirected to login (if they are not already), and then directed to the correct company association with the proper trust center experience. If the trust center is cancelled, a cancellation message will be shown.
5. If you need to Edit the share this is where you would select it. We will cover the details of that in the next section.
6. This shows you the status of the NDA and the date that it was accepted. Only one NDA is needed. Subsequent shares to the same customer or prospect will not require an NDA.
Notice the date of the share as 14 May 2025, but the NDA accepted date as 27 Mar 2025. There was a previous share shown in the second image below. This is normal.

6a. If you need to override an NDA, you will need to do this before the customer accepts the NDA from this screen. You would come in edit the record and select the override option.

✏️ Customer 'Edit' Section
You select Edit for each Whistic Trust Center Share that you want to edit or cancel.
- Select 'Add Recipient' to include another contact of your customer who may have a need or has requested access to this share.
- Setting an expiration date is optional so you can select this field and choose any date you want. If a trust center has a default expiration, it can be adjusted for each share until expiration. After expiration, it is cancelled and can no longer be edited.
- Cancel the Share and your recipients will no longer have access to that share.
If 'Add Recipient' is used, the trust center share date in the email notification that's sent when the additional recipient is added will show the original share date, even if the additional recipient was added on a later date than the original share date.
🔗 Multiple Shares
Sending a Whistic Trust Center to a customer or prospect adds them to the Shares section and you are not limited to sharing other trust centers with them.
It is not uncommon to have different Whistic Trust Centers with varying Questionnaires, Audits and Certifications, Reports, and an NDA or not depending on your customers' needs and the relationships you have with your customers.
One trust center may require an NDA while another does not. It is determined in the settings of the trust center. Note the sections titled version, dates, NDA status, etc.
