Summary
This article will walk you through how to create a Whistic clickthrough NDA. If you are using or plan to use the DocuSign integration for your NDAs, this will not apply. DocuSign NDAs are created, managed, stored, and made viewable within your DocuSign account only. For more information on the DocuSign integration, please click HERE.
Placing an NDA requirement before a customer can access your Whistic Trust Center is a great way to control access to the sensitive information that your Trust Center may contain.
Currently, only 1 NDA is able to be approved between any 2 companies within Whistic. Any changes you make to the NDA or Trust Centers afterward will not trigger a new NDA to be required between the 2 companies. Cancelling previous shares (and associated NDAs) will not require a new NDA be signed.
This guide will walk you through the setup.
🛠️ Steps
1. From the upper-right hand corner, select Settings > Trust Center Settings > Non-Disclosure Agreements
2. Customize your NDA by creating a Title, the NDA Text, and the Rejection Text. You may also want to consider pre-signing (instead of counter-signing) your acceptance, as some customers require this at some point, then select Save.
❓ FAQ
Can I download signed NDAs?
Yes, you can download NDAs that your Trust Center recipients have agreed to, click HERE for more information.
How do I replace an NDA?
- For tracking and other reasons, you likely want to create a new NDA instead of modifying the old one. Then you can see what NDAs have been accepted per share (only available in individual Customer Catalog Share modals).
- If you modify an existing NDA, this change will not prompt any old share recipients to sign the NDA again.
- If you create a new NDA and replace the NDA on a Trust Center that has old subscription shares connected to it, those recipients will need to sign your updated NDA before accessing the Trust Center again.
- You may also want to update the titles of old NDAs with "Deprecated," etc. This will help your team to use the correct NDA(s) for new Trust Centers and shares. This change will not sync with the old shares in reporting.
How do I delete an NDA?
- Once NDAs are created, they can be changed, but not deleted or removed.
Can I import my external NDA?
- Currently, we do not officially support all external NDA files or formats. Images are not supported. You may find it helpful to mention in your NDA that it is pre-signed / pre-approved.
Do I have to include an NDA for a customer more than once?
- Once you share your Trust Center with a specific customer and they sign the NDA, that specific customer will no longer need to be sent another NDA. The platform will retain the approved NDA record for future Trust Center shares.
