Summary
The power of Whistic Smart Search, now for your Profile! This feature is intended to function similar to the Knowledge Base search, but specific to the Profile that you are accessing.
New with Smart Search for Profile:
- Whistic AI is also able to use information contained in the About Section of your Profile, to help answer questions.
- Your Profile recipients can now experience the benefits of Smart Search making it easier for them to find answers to their questions.

Using Profile Smart Search
- Open the Profile that you would like to search.
You'll notice the Smart Search bar atop the Profile.
TIP: To generate the best results, ask actual questions, don't just type keywords.
- Type a question and click to begin your search.
- Whistic AI will generate an answer, along with links to supporting source documents and questionnaires. The answer also includes the following options:
- An AI generated answer, drawn from the sources that most closely match the question
- The answer match rate (High, Medium, or Low)
- An option to provide feedback about the accuracy of the answer
- A button to request an Answer Explanation. (This asks AI to explain itself, and will provide a more detailed answer, including which source(s) were used in generating the answer.)
- A list of sources (drawn from the Profile) that most closely match the question. These are also ranked for how closely they match the question.
- By clicking on each of the sources, you can see Source details, including a link to the specific document or questionnaire, so you can review the source in context.
Remember, the answers are only as good as the data available in your Profile. Be sure that all the sources in the Profile are finished processing to be eligible for inclusion.
To check whether the documents and questionnaires on your Profile are ready to be searched, click the check processing status button next to the Search bar.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If Whistic AI is not enabled on your account, you will still see a search bar and Whistic will still identify a list of sources related to your question. This portion of the process does NOT involve AI, and nothing will be sent to any AI tools to be processed.
Give Your Customers Access to Smart Search
Since you're using AI, your recipients can also benefit from it! It makes it easier for them to find answers, which means you won't have to spend time filling out their questionnaires or sorting through all those documents.
