Whistic Assess
Simplified request process making it easier to assess vendors using documents.
Would the vendor prefer to send you a document that captures their security overview instead of completing a questionnaire? Assess by Document is here! Among other things, it provides reduced turnaround times, increased response rates, and flexible alternatives when needed.
- Expanded capabilities to request documents, not just questionnaires
- Vendors are able to provide alternative material if the requested document is unavailable
- Ability to view returned documents in the Assessment Activity
- Several Reporting elements (on the Vendor Catalog & Reporting pages) that previously only tracked Questionnaires as part of an Assessment are being updated to include Documents
- Most fields now use Assessments when referring to requests, instead of just Questionnaires. For example, the Questionnaire Reviewers field is now Assessment Reviewers, etc.

We are already enhancing this feature and you can expect to see those improvements in the coming weeks & months. Specifically, expect to see:
- Expanding the document review functionality to include commenting & more
- Generating a final report
- Setting a vendor assessment status
- Using document requests in Program Automation
This feature is automatically available to those using Assess features. The user permissions will align with existing Questionnaire request capabilities. For example, if a permission allowed a user to request questionnaires, that user will now also be able to request documents, etc.
Vendor Summary (Beta)
Quickly view a vendor's compliance across multiple security controls! This feature will continue to expand in the coming months to include all the existing components of reviewing a vendor - such as, leaving comments, requesting vendor follow ups, and much more.
